I hired Rock Solid  to do a challenging new home site excavation. The site is remote and we were faced with a lot of large rocks(boulders!). John and his crew did a great job. The price was reasonable given the difficulties involved. They showed up as promised and worked every day until the job was completed. I love John’s “we’ll get it done” attitude. I would definitely use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing their services in Western NC.

Rock Solid Grading does great work.   I am a builder throughout Western NC, and I've had John and his crew on several of my jobs doing the grading, clearing, basement digs and any other grading relating needs we have.   He has always been professional, does exactly what we need done,  and is fairly priced.   If you need any grading or clearing done,  I don't hesitate to recommend Rock Solid Grading.

He came and did our driveway he did a great job and he made sure we was happy asked if we need him to do anything different and once we was happy which was just how  he did it . He took pick attach them to our E Receipt. And sent us that via email  then we paid him and I recommend  you to use him if you need Excavating done.. thank you for the great job my boyfriend  cried happy tears to final have our driveway fixed so we can drive up to the house .

Rock Solid helped us with a massive amount of post hurricane Helene cleanup. John and his team did a great job clearing out while preserving our in tact property. Difficult work and they went above and beyond expectations. Hope to have them back again later in the year for round 2!

John transformed our property with the landscaping work he did. He operated all of his equipment well and moved a lot of earth efficiently. We had nothing but a steep hill behind our house and these guys leveled us out a nice  little backyard. I particularly appreciated that John stayed in touch leading up to the job and then kept me updated throughout the work. They’re definitely reliable and I would hire them again.

I recently reached out to John about repairing my driveway that already needed help and then after the storm was just a lost cause.  I work for a builder who does grading and road building, but our schedule was too full to even squeeze me in anytime soon, so I went on the hunt to find someone that could work my driveway in.  John came out and met with me to discuss the project he answered all of my many questions directly and I felt comfortable with moving forward.  I even reviewed his pricing and plan with my boss and he agreed it was in line with appropriate pricing for that type of job.  Once giving John and his crew the go ahead they got started almost right away and even finished earlier than expected.  I was so excited to see the completed work and be able to drive up the driveway and not feel like I'm going to lose a tire or get stuck.  I will happily and already have recommonded John to friends that are looking for grading and clearing help in the future.
